I meant to post these pictures of JPL when the Station Fire was close - taken at sunset, it made for some pretty nice pix.

Edge of the world - and fire too!

Well, maybe not just now - at the moment it looks like most of the Station fire activity is further north, but I did see this view from the Devil's Gate Dam this afternoon. I am hoping that JPL will open tomorrow, and maybe things will get closer to normal and most of the smoke will go away. Yes, I know this is not technically Altadena, but we are just over there to the right. Wave!
